Early Life
Seema Singh, a distinguished social entrepreneur and philanthropist, hails from the vibrant city of Patna in Bihar, India. After completing her higher education at Patna University, she embarked on a new chapter of her life in the bustling metropolis of Mumbai, where she realized her entrepreneurial aspirations.
Now residing in the heart of Mumbai, specifically in the coveted locale of Worli, Seema is a loving mother to two children, Dr. Meghna and Shrey Shree. Despite her family's significant presence in the pharmaceutical industry, with her father-in-law chairing "Alkem Pharma," and her husband, Mr. M.K. Singh, being a director of the same company and the Managing Director of Indchemie Health Specialties Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in Mumbai, Seema's true passion lies in social work.
In 2000, Seema founded the NGO "MeghaShrey," a name derived from the names of her beloved children, Dr. Meghna and Shrey Shree Anant Singh. This philanthropic endeavor is driven by Seema's vision to bring smiles to people's faces, whether through acts of kindness or offering support to those in need. "MeghaShrey" is dedicated to uplifting the underprivileged and bring a positive change in the society
Seema Singh today has been recognized and rewarded by great leaders of the country like President of India Shri Draupadi Murmu, Former President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind, various ministries and governors. Today through MeghaShrey NGO she has left no stone unturned to touch the hearts of millions and bring a positive change while uplifting the under privileged communities.
